Getting A Six Pack

July 23rd, 2010 by Trainer

Getting a six pack has been something people have been dreaming of for ages. The need for a lean, ripped ab area has plenty of appeal today. However, with this popularity has come many untruths. There are countless strategies about establishing rock hard abs that the population believe that are honestly BS.For a person to successfully build a sixpack they must seperate what to believe and what not to believe. A dedicated six pack builder must get to the true facts so they can begin on the right foot and make reaching their desire much faster.

The bare facts about getting a six pack is that you must get rid of the belly fat and build up their ab muscles. Doing this requires exercise and an eating plan. This is where guys and girls begin to get what’s right and wrong mixed, though. It is often thought that by doing intensive crunches or other specific exercises for the stomach muscles that anyone can get a 6 pack. This will probably help, but I don’t know of anybody will get hard abs on spot exercising alone. It needs aerobic exercises and a managed eating plan.

It is also worth knowing that not everyone will be able to thrash out a six pack. That is a honest fact. Genes play a huge part in the six pack look. Some people simply can’t get their body fat % low enough to grow a six pack. Without the low body fat percentage gorgeous abs will not show through as a six pack. Typically, ladies will find it a touch tougher to get abs than a fella due to the biological make-up of the female body. Someone who has the genetic make up of a high body fat will likely, also find getting ripped abs to be an unfullfilled wish.

The best work-out for a six pack will include exercises that work the back muscles and all the stomach muscles. Additionally, you get ready to do aerobic exercise to assist in eliminating body fat. Form is a decisive element when doing spot exercises. The wrong form can equal injury which can put you behind. So, eating right, doing spot and aerobic exercises is the path for getting abs. Not including any part of this regime will make it very difficult, if not impossible, to getting a six pack.

It seems that if you live in California and frequent the many beaches in this U.S state you have a passion for getting six pack abs. How do I know? I was looking over my statistics of vistitors to my website and found that nearly half those visitors come from California.

This is fairly easy to understand as California, and in particular Los Angeles and San Diego, have some of the best beaches in the world and are known to be frequented by many beautiful people. Of course having ripped six pack abs is a vital component of looking good at these location.

With beaches such as Malibu, Santa Monica and Venice, the L.A area will be swamped with guys wanting to impress the ladies. That’s fair. So of course they hop online and do some research into getting six pack abs.

I think what has bought the visitors to my site is the fact that a colleague of mine, Jon Alvino resides there. Jon is a fat loss expert , master trainer & strength and conditioning coach who has trained elite athletes and navy SEALS to achieve not only a hard set of abs but overall fitness.

Really, Californians are a great bunch of people, so hospitable, so it is no surprise they want to look great and feel good. Well, That is what my website stats are telling me anyway.

Perfect Six Pack AbsI don’t know about you, but when I finally made the decision to get six pack abs I also understood that there was a heap I had to learn before this would happen. I have talked to guys who have sweated it out for months doing crunches for six pack abs and achieved nothing. That is because they have not done their homework or have not hooked up with someone who has already achieved what they want to do and simply copied them or as it is called in the industry, modelled them.

Modelling someone is simply doing what they are doing to get ripped abs and after a period of time you refine or slightly alter it so that it fits your specific needs. Put another way, your Mom showed you how to tie your shoelaces but I am sure you do it differently now. Same end result just a different technique.

This is what you will do on your journey to get the perfect six pack. Use the methods that are proven to work and as you get more into the program you can tweak it so that you reach your maximum results. Speaking of proven methods, John Alvino, of How To Get Ripped Abs fame, has hundreds of clients testifying to his methods being on the mark.

When you see John, (wait till you see his before and afters, they are a crack up) you will see that what he preaches he definately practises. I guess that is why NBL stars as well as NHL,NFL and Navy SEALS all seek out John to train them. Getting six pack abs does not mean you have to reinvent the wheel. Simply model one of the greats in the industry for an arm chair ride to your goals. Do your due diligence when searching for information on getting perfect six pack abs but I suggest part of that due diligence is to click here to get introduced to John Alvino.

3 Key Elements To Building Ripped Abs

July 4th, 2009 by Trainer

great-absI get it. Your months of hard training and discipline have not got you the ripped abs you dreamed you would have with your workload. You are not on your own. Email after email ask when will these damn abs start showing The answer is identical to all of them. They are missing one of the key elements to getting the perfect six pack abs.

What are the 3 important elements? Well before I mention them, let’s see what other plusses there are to having ripped abs. Definition in your six pack region will not only boost your self esteem but it will provide a host of other health benefits such as your posture and spinal cord will get stronger. Now for the 3 key components. Obviously these plusses make working on getting the perfect six pack well worth it.

Correct Cardio Work For Your Abs

If you have a layer of tummy fat covering your abs there is no point having them. Make losing it a major goal now. And this can only be achieved by doing the right cardio movements. Unfortunately, you cannot pinpoint an area of the body to lose fat from. It has to be part of the overall plan to lose all body fat. In other words, do not go ballistic doing abdominal training just to lose the midriff fat.

You will have to incorporate three or four really intense sessions of bike riding, jogging, some rope exercises and even some elliptical to begin the process of losing the belly fat. I’ll say it again, Numerous crunches etc will not shed the pounds of the stomach region.

Your Abs and Eating

Cardio by itself will not strip that belly fat. A disciplined diet regime is also needed. Doing 3 or 4 strenuous sessions a week does not give you a license to go on an eating binge. There is one golden rule to losing weight. Burn more calories than you are putting in and you have to lose weight but we have to make sure that what goes in is the right fuel to aid our endevours for our six pack abs.

Ideally you want to constantly eat throughout the day. Having five or six small to medium sized meals per day is more benificial than having three big ones. Having a snack nearby is a good habit to form so that you can eat it instead of impulse buying food that can harm your efforts

Attitude Rules

Here is the bottom line. Get ready for a ball breaking journey to get your perfect six pack abs. There are going to be occasions where you will want to quit. Resist this urge and keep your end goal at the forefront of your thinking.

Body Fat Percentage and Your Six Pack Abs

Secrets To Six Pack

Secrets To Six Pack

The critical factor in you getting the perfect six pack abs is your body fat percentage. To get great looking abs males will have to have a BFP of between 6%-10% and for females approx 10%-16%. So that you are under no illusions in the gravity of the situation I am here to tell you that if you currently carry excess weight around your belly that you are in for a massive challenge to get rid of it and expose those ripped abs.

Don’t get me wrong, it can be done, but get ready for a hard slog. It is going to test your resilience, patience and discipline to get the abs you are after. The main message here is that without a low body fat percentage, you are not going to get a six pack.

Cold hard facts here folks. No sugar coating it at all and I say this because three of my closest associates have been trying for near on a year now to get the abs as part of an all round training regime and are getting virtually nowhere.

Now don’t go out and get skinfold tests done every other day to see how you are going. Get one skinfold and resume your exercise routine. Check back in 2 weeks with another skinfold test to see what your body fat percentage is.

My whole point here is to alert you to the fact that your eating habits are absolutely critical to get a six pack. 1,000’s of crunches will not do it. Diet, in conjunction with a mapped out exercise plan, will do it. Get that body fat percentage heading south.

This next page is vital to you in your quest for the perfect six pack abs. It touches on what foods to eat for a six pack. Also, foods to avoid for a six pack. Best of luck and I look forward to hearing of your success. Next Page —-> Click Here

Using Enhancement Supplements For A Six Pack

June 11th, 2009 by Trainer

Exercise For Ripped AbsEnhancement supplements are used by body builders, including those who want to have perfectly well formed abs, as a way to bulk up muscle growth. The way that natural enhancement supplements work is to increase blood flow to the muscles and allow you to get more from your workout. You can often get a more intense workout when you use enhancement supplements than if you just workout without these supplements.

Natural enhancement supplements are made with herbal ingredients that have been used for hundreds of years as a way to increase energy levels in the body. Anyone who is looking for a way to increase blood flow to muscles can use these natural enhancement supplements. You should not confuse natural enhancement supplements with steroids, a product that is created from synthetic hormones and should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor. Enhancement supplements are made from natural products whereas steroids that many body builders also take, are made from chemically created hormones.

Many people who workout and want to build muscle bulk enjoy using enhancement supplements as part of their workout routine. They can make it easier to work out harder for a longer period of time and give you better results from your workout routine.

Other people dislike the idea of using enhancement supplements because they do not give them the instant bulk or muscle growth that they expect. Many people who feel this way do so because they have confused natural enhancement supplements for working out with steroids.

Steroids are usually illegally obtained and should be avoided by anyone who wants to stay healthy. The side effects of taking steroids include increased aggression, organ damage and even mental instability. Men will notice their testicles shrinking from taking steroids and women will begin to grow hair on their face and chest. Steroids are an unnatural enhancement that many in the body building circuit use to get those large, unnatural looking muscles.

Six pack abs are not unnatural looking. They are a well defined muscle group in your abdominal region. You do not have to resort to any artificial means to achieve the perfect six pack when it comes to your abs. You can get these abs using the exercises and diet formulas demonstrated in this book without having to resort to any supplements.

If you want to feel as though you are helping your workout along, you can take natural supplements that contain herbal ingredients, no chemicals and are designed to allow for increased blood flow to the muscle areas.

This will not do you any harm and may also give you a psychological boost as well. You can purchase natural enhancement supplements at health food store as well as some online outlets. Remember not to get anything other than a completely natural supplement and stay away from steroids.

There is no magic pill that you can take to get the perfect abs. They take hard work and dedication. If you are willing to put the time into exercising and working out for the perfect abs, and eat a proper diet that will also benefit you in this quest, you can have the perfect abs.

But if you are looking for a way to get this look without any type of effort on your part, think again. No enhancement or magic pill is going to do it for you. Hard work and discipline will allow you to have the perfect abs of your dreams.

Six Pack Gives You Confidence

May 27th, 2009 by Trainer

Get Confidence With AbsAchieving the perfect abs can do more for your brain than any other part of your body. Sure, your body will look good and you will be healthy looking as well. You will feel good about your health and happy about the way that you look in clothes.

But the way that you feel mentally will be even better than the way that you feel physically. This is because you will have a renewed sense of self confidence. Not only because you are happy with the way that you look, but because you have set a goal for yourself and achieved that goal.

Few things enhance the confidence level more than setting a goal and completing a goal. This will make you feel like a worthwhile person and give you a higher sense of self esteem. If you want to feel good about yourself, one way to do so is to set a goal and follow through with that goal. The psychological impact of attaining the perfect abs will be enormous.

There is also a psychological component to achieving the perfect abs that you need to explore when you are trying to achieve this goal. How bad do you want it? You need to ask yourself how bad you want to have the perfect abs and what you are willing to go through to get them.

In order to achieve this goal, you need to want it very badly. Many people will complain that they cannot lose weight or cannot quit smoking. They are usually defeating themselves when they say this.

Of course they can lose weight and quit smoking as this is done by people all of the time. If it was impossible to lose weight, quit smoking or attain the perfect abs, then no one would do it. But people do this all the time. So it is not impossible unless you say that this is so.

How To Get A 6 Pack

May 19th, 2009 by Trainer

Great Looking AbsLet’s face it, there is nothing more attractive than the look and feel of a tightly carved out midsection. In most people’s opinion, no other body part screams out sex appeal more than a great set of six pack abs. The attention that one can achieve from having a tight and lean midsection has caused the marketing world to go “ab workout crazy”.

Anywhere you turn you can find countless abdominal training gadgets, gimmicks and programs promising to help you develop six pack abs in record time. With all of this “great information” so readily available, you would suspect that millions of people would have been able to achieve a sexy stomach. Take one trip to the beach and it will be obvious that this is not the case. In fact, average the waist size has climbed to an all time high just recently.

Why have these ab programs failed so miserably? The answer to this question is surprisingly simple. These programs focus on traditional ab exercises! Traditional ab exercises may work the abs but they do little to burn actual body fat. Fortunately, there are much more effective exercises that carve out a six pack while simultaneously melting off your belly fat.

The bottom line is you will never achieve that sexy looking midsection until you lose your belly fat. The good news is that this can be accomplished quickly and easily. Let’s discuss how to lose belly fat (the right way) and finally unveil your sexy six pack.

  1. Engage in a full body resistance training routine. When done properly, full body resistance training stimulates your metabolism like no other activity can. This should be the cornerstone of your belly fat loss program. This routine should only contain exercises that work multiple muscle groups simultaneously. Some examples are: One Arm DB Split Snatch, Modified KB Turkish Get Up, Squat Press Combo, etc.

Unlike traditional ab exercises, these full body movements have a huge caloric cost. In addition to burning a lot of calories during the workout, these exercises greatly increase your metabolism which in turn forces your body to burn fat all day long.

  2. Perform high intensity cardio workouts. High intensity cardio burns significantly more calories than low intensity workouts per unit of time while simultaneously elevating your metabolism to a significant degree. Although these workouts are more difficult to perform, they require much shorter durations. In fact, you can get an incredibly effective fat loss effect in as little as ten minutes, making this a very time efficient way to train.

Some of my favorite exercises to use for these workouts are: sprinting, various bodyweight jumps, rope jumping doubles, power wheel walks, etc.

  3. Utilize ab exercises that work your entire body. These exercises give you the most bang for your buck. “Isolated” ab exercises do nothing to burn belly fat.

On the other hand, Turbo Ab Exercises work your abs very effectively while increasing your heart rate and burning a significant amount of calories. Unlike traditional ab exercises, these movements sculpt your six pack while simultaneously burning stubborn body fat.

Switch your crunches for a Turbo Ab Exercise such as Med Ball Explosive Pikes and see the difference for yourself.

  4. Practice proper nutrition. Excess belly fat is often an indication of chronically high insulin levels. The best diets to keep insulin levels in check are the ones that recommend avoiding sugars, flour products, saturated fats and processed foods.

Instead, your diet should consist of whole foods in their natural state such as: Vegetables, fresh fruits, nuts and seeds, legumes, whole grains, lean proteins (fish, shellfish, eggs and egg whites, turkey and chicken breast and small amounts of no-fat dairy products.

Follow these simple steps and get your six pack in no time!

Great Looking Abs

As you are working on your abdominal muscles, you will notice that you reach a stalemate where it seems as if the abs are not getting any more defined. This often happens with dieters as well. Everyone who works on losing weight or trying to define their muscles will reach a point where they cannot get any further with their efforts, despite the fact that they are doing everything that they can do to achieve the results that they want. So what do you do when you are at a plateau and cannot lose any more weight or gain any improvement in your muscles?

The best way that you can avoid this problem is to change the way that you are doing things. Sometimes, your body gets used to a certain routine to the point where you cannot get it to perform an more. When this occurs, the only thing you can do is to change your workout routine.

If you have been using Pilates instead of machine weights, begin using them. Start changing the toning exercises as well and begin using another cardiovascular machine. This jolt may be just what your body needs in order to get back into shape. You need to make some changes.

If you find that you have reached a plateau when it comes to your quest for the perfect abs, you should use a different method of exercise to break up the routine. This will cause you different results.

The same concept holds true for dieting. If you are on a diet and reach a plateau, you should change the routine that you are using to get different results. This works with exercise as it does with dieting. Do not continue on a plan that is not working. Look for a plan that is slightly different to further your quest for the best looking abs.

You should also watch your diet at this time. You may want to start eating smaller meals more often in an effort to get more energy into your body. This is one change that you can make that will help you attain the goals you have for yourself.

If you reach a stalemate when you are trying to attain six pack abs, try something new. Try performing a different exercise, change your workout routine or change your diet so that you can once again start getting the results that you want.
